STAC SOFTBALL: HORSEHEADS NOTCHES VICTORY OVER MAINE-ENDWELL (2025-04-23)

ENDWELL — The Horseheads softball team scored runs in each of the first five innings on their way to a 12-3 win over Maine-Endwell.

One day after falling to Corning the state-ranked Blue Raiders scored three in the first, five in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Caitlin Yearick, Aubrey Howe and Reagan Burge had two hits each in the game.

Yearick had a double, two RBI and two runs scored and Burge had two hits and scored three runs, while Howe had two RBI.

Megan Wolf and Chloe Perritt each had triples in the game, both of them had RBI and Wolf scored two runs, while Perritt scored one.

Presley McInnes and Samantha Bonnell each had a hit and scored runs, while Aubrey Griffith scored two runs.

Perritt struck out two in four innings and Burge worked three innings of one-hit, shutout relief, striking out two.
