EIGHT-MAN FOOTBALL: NO. 3 RANKED EDISON DOWNS DRYDEN (15 PHOTOS)(September 25, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report DRYDEN — The No. 3 state ranked Edison Spartans picked up a 48-16 win over Dryden in eight-man football on Friday night.
Paxton Hoover started the scoring at 9:41 on a 59-yard pass from Jace Schiller. Schiller hit Connor Lasko on the two-point try.
Schiller then had a 67-yard touchdown run at 4:01 and he hit Lasko on the two-point try.
After Dryden scored on a 47-yard touchdown pass at 11:45 of the second quarter Schiller hit Lasko on a 46-yard touchdown and he hit Tanner Buchanan on the two-point try 20 seconds later.
Schiller then scored on a four-yard run at 7:41. Schiller had a 60-yard touchdown run at 8:53 and Paxton Hoover then had a 40-yard touchdown run at 4:20.
After a Dryden 10-yard run at 4:49 Jimmy Haskins had a 46-yard touchdown with 54 seconds left in the game.
Schiller was 3-for-5 passing for 123 yards and two scores, and an interception. He ran for 92 yards on 12 carries with three scores. Jimmy Haskins ran for 64 yards on four carries and Hoover had 57 yards on three carries, while Lasko ran for 18 yards.
Lasko had two grabs for 64 yards and Hoover had the 59-yard touchdown catch.
