STAC BOYS' GOLF: PALUMBO EARNS MEDALIST HONORS, BUT HORSEHEADS FALLS AT M-E (September 17, 2026)

ENDWELL — Jackson Palumbo earned medalist honors, but the Horseheads golf team fell at Maine-Endwell on Thursday afternoon, 197-213.

Palumboshot a 37 to earn medalist honors.

Jeff Cain and Braden Sternquist both shot rounds of 42 and Jackson Bell had a 43. Boedi Knapp shot a 49 and Mo Cardinale had a 50.

Kyle Hennessy shot a 38 for M-E and Chase Buckley, Matt Lenick and Frankie Shattuck all shot rounds of 39. 

Lucas Chanecha had a 42 and Mason Rose shot a 44.
