STAC VOLLEYBALL: CORNING VOLLEYBALL PICKS UP WIN AT HORSEHEADS (September 17, 2026)

HORSEHEADS — The Corning Hawks volleyball team picks up a 3-0 win over Horseheads on Thursday night, 26-24, 25-15, 25-17.

Paisley Emmick had 33 assists, nine digs and eight points for Corning and Sam Molingou had three blocks and 12 kills.

Char Starns had nine kills, two digs, three points and an ace and Bella Gonzalez had 11 points, two assists and 17 digs.

Sophie Schoonover had eight kills, five digs, a block, seven points and an ace. 

Jillian Wood had seven kills and six digs, with eight points. 

Jemma Randall had nine kills, 13 digs and two aces for Horseheads and Kennedy Harer had six kills, nine digs, two aces and a block.

Ashley Yeager had 17 assists and Kolby Chaffee had four kills and three blocks.

Hailey Earl had two assists, four digs and two kills.

Kaitlyn Procopio had 14 digs and Lilianna Mata had six digs. 

Horseheads won the JV match 25-22, 25-21, 22-25. 

Mira Barnum had 15 digs, Stella Aikman had 10 assists and Hannah Beck finished with three kills and two digs.
