ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison girls’ soccer team was edged 3-2 by Watkins Glen in double overtime.

Aleah Ventra scored at 96:30 in the second overtime for Watkins Glen. 

Marlee Savino had a goal at 11:35 off a Paige Vaughn assist and at 50:08 Ventra scored to tie it for Watkins Glen.

Aurora Parlo scored at 52:38 off an Eliza Crandall assist to give the Spartans back the lead and Natalie Vanskiver scored at 60:47 to tie things for Watkins.

Edison had 13 shots and 10 corner kicks and Watkins Glen had 10 shots and six corner kicks. 

Kaylynn Tarby had six saves for Edison and Emma Cady had seven saves for Watkins Glen.
