STAC BOYS' SOCCER: ELMIRA EARNS TIE WITH MAINE-ENDWELL (September 16, 2026)

ELMIRA — The Elmira boys’ soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Maine-Endwell after two overtimes on Wednesday night.

Dom Capilli had the Elmira goal and Brian Hull had the goal for the Spartans. 

“Well played match by both teams,” Elmira coach Derek Hamilton said. “Maine-Endwell always has a quality team on the pitch. For us, I thought we put together a solid match as we continue to improve throughout the season.

“Both teams had great looks to win the match in OT. We are a little banged up right now and hoping to get healthy heading into the weekend.”
