STAC GIRLS' TENNIS: ELMIRA SET TO OPEN SEASON AT HOME (September 7, 2026)

ELMIRA — The Elmira Express girls’ tennis team has big numbers as they prepare to kick off the season on Tuesday when they host Corning. 

ELMIRA EXPRESS 
RETURNING PLAYERS: Amelia Allen, Olivia Andrews, Hannah Reynolds, Kariss Lynch, Jayden Mann, Daryna Zhydovlenko, Millie Kierst,  Mary Collins, Evaya Gardner, Lillian Hakes
THOUGHTS ON RETURNERS: I am glad to have the kids back and look forward to see the growth that comes from their commitment and work ethic
NEWCOMERS: Ella Devlin, Aurora Cook, Frankie Hutsal, Eva Scott, Laura Ruiz, Halayna McDonald, Lily Clark, Sarah Gregorio
THOUGHTS ON NEWCOMERS: the new players are going to have a significant impact on both this year and the future of the years to come
THOUGHTS ON TEAM: we are in a rebuilding stage and it begins from footwork and grows up and to strategy. The team has high character and high work ethic so I expect to see growth and results as the season progresses.
THOUGHTS ON LEAGUE: the league is in front of us and we are doing what we can to get to where we know we can be through fundamentals and program development.
