STAC BOYS' GOLF: ELMIRA NOTCHES VICTORY OVER CORNING (September 1, 2026)

CORNING — The Elmira boys’ golf team picked up a 207-225 win over the Corning Hawks at Corning Country Club on Tuesday.

Aidan Ranck, who finished third at the DiNunzio Tournament to open the season on Monday, followed that up with medalist honors on Tuesday with a 39.

Ryan Ferrario and Brayden Eden each had rounds of 40 for the Express and Dominick Faulisi had a round of 43. Drew Reynolds had a 45 for the Express. Max Norman shot a 53 for Elmira.

Isaiah Kibler, Judah Stauffer and Hunter Akins each had rounds of 42 for Corning and Wyatt Loszynski had a round of 48. Connor Nehring and Lucas Jennings both shot rounds of 51.

Colton Schmidt and Lucas Heevery each shot 45 for Elmira in exhibitions, while Mike Knutt shot a 54. 

Abram Inthanongsak shot a 48 in an exhibition for Corning and Lochlin Asiello shot a 55, while Zeke Chappell shot a 61. 

“Was proud of the way the Corning kids played today,” Corning coach Chris Clark said. “We’re a very young team this year that is already showing signs of improvement.”
