FINGER LAKES FALCONS HOLD 8U TOURNAMENT (24 PHOTOS) (August 9, 2026)

HORSEHEADS — The Finger Lakes Falcons for a Cure Tournament was an 8u event this year.

The RBI National-Kuzma team won the tournament with a 6-2 victory over Academy Baseball in the final. 

The Finger Lakes Falcons-Zelko team ended the day with a 6-4 loss to RBI American. The Falcons had beaten the Horseheads Wildcats 9-7 to start Sunday. 

The Falcons beat RBI American 10-0 on Friday night. 

The Wildcats fell to Hornell Saturday 9-3 and the Falcons won 14-2 over Treumansburg. 

The Wildcats fell to RBI National 20-8 on Saturday and the Falcons beat the Susquehanna River Rats 13-9. 

The Wildcats had a 7-7 tie with Academy Baseball on Saturday.
