GIRLS' GOLF: CORNING'S ABEL SHOOTS 8-UNDER ROUND AT LOCUST HILL TO WIN RDGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (July 7, 2026)

Corning’s Delaney Abel had a round to remember at Locust Hill Country Club.

Abel went super low in round one of the 2026 RDGA Junior Championships, firing an eight-under par in the girls’ division. 

Some of the best junior golfers in the Rochester area are competing across six divisions at Locust Hill Country Club, with Abel winning the 18-hole junior girls championship

Abel had an eight-under 66 in round one, and followed it up with a round of 73 and she is at 139, 14 shots better then anyone else in the field.
