SENIOR LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: CPPLL WINS SECTIONALS, ADVANCES TO STATES (July 5, 2026)

BINGHAMTON — The Corning-Painted Post Little League senior baseball team won sectionals on Sunday and will advance to the NYS Senior Little League Tournament in Binghamton. 

CPPLL beat Binghamton 16u 5-4 on Friday and 17-3 on Sunday.

In Friday’s win Brendan Patton struck out six in six innings and Joey Crisco threw a perfect inning of relief with two strikeouts. 

Levi Reagan had two hits, with a double, and two RBI and Chase Conklin had two hits.

William Nicholson had a hit and scored a run and Carter Dillon had a hit and scored a run.

Crisco had a hit, two RBI and a run scored and Carter Buchanan had a hit and an RBI, while Bryce Kaiser had a hit. Patton scored a run.

On Sunday CPPLL got four innings on the mound from Crisco, as he struck out eight. Jake Page pitched a perfect inning of relief, striking out all three batters he faced. 

Jake Alwine had three hits, with a double, a triple, five RBI and three runs scored and Dillon had two hits, with a double, and four RBI. 

Page had three hits, with a double, and three runs scored and Patton had two hits, three RBI and three runs scored. 

Nicholson had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored and Buchanan had a hit and an RBI, while Devyn Dart had a hit and scored a run.

Reagan had an RBI and scored three runs and Conklin scored two runs. 

The state tournament is July 12-16 at Conlon Field.
