SECTION 4 GIRLS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS' KOZEMKO IS PLAYER OF YEAR TO HEADLINE SECTION IV ALL-STAR LIST (June 18, 2026)

Horseheads senior Lauren Kozemko was named the Division I Player of the Year to headline the local athletes on the Section IV all-star list. 

The first team also includes Horseheads’ Kaelyn McCarthy, Lexi Lese and Kate Rought and Elmira’s Avery McCauley.

Corning’s Brynna Walsh, Kennedy Driscoll and Roni Nevins are all on the first team. 

Horseheads coach Jennifer Guzylak and Kaitlyn Hoffay of Ithaca are the co-coaches of the year. 

The second team includes Corning’s Aubrey Rose, Christina Peet and Reagan Slocum, along with Horseheads’ CarLynn Sindlinger and Emma Guzylak and Elmira’s Hailey Hamilton and Gianna Capilli.
