LESE, CAPILLI NAMED KIWANIS CLUB ATHLETES OF THE YEAR (June 9, 2026)

ELMIRA — The Elmira Kiwanis Club recently named their sports award winners for the 2025-26 school year.

The Bee Stephens Award for Female Athlete of the Year went to Alexa Lese of Horseheads and the Dick Seiko Award for Male Athlete of the Year went to Luca Capilli of Elmira. 

The Joel Stephens Award for Baseball Player of the Year went to Cooper Ball of Horseheads and the Junker Johnston Award for Softball Player of the Year went to Aurora Parlo of Elmira Heights. 

The Patti Perone Award for Female Team Coach of the Year went to Lee Spencer of Horseheads and the Mike D’Aloisio Award for Male Team Coach of the Year went to Kyle Erickson of Elmira Heights.
