UPSL SOCCER: SOARING CAPITAL SOCCER CLUB RALLIES TO TOP GAFFER CITY FC (24 PHOTOS)(May 17, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report CORNING — The Soaring Capital Soccer Club picked up a 3-2 win over Gaffer City FC in UPSL action on Sunday night at Corning Memorial Stadium.
Gaffer City got out to a 2-0 start, before three straight goals by Haverling graduate Ella Yartym, who plays for Geneseo, helped the Soaring Capital get the win.
Horseheads’ Maddie Ribble scored first for Gaffer City off an assist from Blue Raiders teammate Ashley Giammichele.
Towanda graduate Anna Dunn, of Moravian University, hit a 35-yard strike for Gaffer City to put them up 2-0.
Yartym scored three straight goals for the Soaring Capital after that off assists from Lydia Dickson, another Haverling graduate who plays for Alfred; Caylee Horse, an Elmira graduate who played at Saint Rose and Anna Lee, of Williamson. ———
