STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: CORNING WINS FOR 2ND STRAIGHT NIGHT (May 12, 2026)

VESTAL — The Corning boys’ lacrosse team won for a second straight night, topping Vestal 14-2 on Tuesday night.

“Playing two nights in a row was tough, but the boys stayed focused and came out with a lot of energy and intensity,” Corning coach Chris Hogue said. “I was happy with how the defense is really starting to play aggressively and as a unit. On Saturday we got to Canandaigua to play a perennial state power.”

Kohl Hogue had three goals and two assists and Joe Fucito had four goals and an assist. 

Dylan Brewster had three goals and Bradyn Zimmerman had two goals.

Clayton Smith had three assists and Parker Chapel had a goal and an assist.

Carter Proudfoot and Taylor Freelove each had goals and Mikey Johnston had an assist.

Landyn Proudfoot had eight saves and Lachlan Asiello finished with three saves. Casey Hale was 12-for-15 on face-offs.
