CORNING — The Corning Hawks, ranked No. 1 in the state in Class AAA, picked up a 12-0 win over Union-Endicott on Friday.

Matti Johnston threw a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and she was 3-for-3 with three RBI, three runs scored, with a pair of triples. 

Lauren DeRosa was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored and Katie Grover was 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Sophie Schoonover had two hits, with an RBI and two runs scored and Keira Brass had a triple and a run scored.

Mia Madden had a double, two RBI and a run scored and Hannah Kauffmann had a hit and two runs scored.

Keana Mann and Emelia Smith both had RBI in the game.
