IAC SOFTBALL: WHEELER THROWS TWO-HITTER AS EDISON TOPS DRYDEN (May 8, 2026)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Rosie Wheeler threw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts in a five-inning game as Edison topped Dryden 12-0.

Wheeler also went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and a run scored and Carissa Cowan was 3-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and three runs scored. 

Tayler Burdick had two hits, two RBI and a run scored and Kayla Rossi had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, while Hailey Clark had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored.

Aurora Parlo, Cierra Davis and Emma Scriven had hits. Scriven had an RBI and a run scored and Davis scored two runs, while Teresa Carter scored a run.
