SECTION 4 BOYS' LACROSSE: ND/WG CELEBRATES SENIOR NIGHT WITH WIN OVER WINDSOR; SCHWEIZER NETS 7 GOALS (24 PHOTOS) (May 7, 2026)
Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Notre Dame/Watkins Glen boys’ lacrosse team celebrated senior night with a 15-10 win over Windsor on Thursday night.
Senior Finn Schweizer had seven goals and an assist on senior night.
“We celebrated a great group of seniors tonight that have contributed to the successes of the program,” ND/WG coach Geoff Crossley said. “Finn (Schweizer), Garrett (Kone), Sam (Hohle), Liam (McCloy), Caden (Hall), Callum (Biers), Mathis (Dehecq) and Victor (Ambiel) have all done their part to help us keep lacrosse in both the Notre Dame and Watkins Glen school districts.
“Without the dedication of these young men over the past two seasons there is no telling where these programs would be. We appreciate them.”
Notre Dame/Watkins Glen didn’t have a perfect game, but it ended with a win.
“We got the win, but it was not the performance we wanted to have on our senior night,” Crossley said. “This was a very sloppy game on our part with a lot of careless mistakes that lead to goals on the other end. With the senior ceremony before the game I think we lost some focus that we normally would have. We did pull out the win and I am happy about that.”
Landon English had four goals and two assists in the game and Matt Keough finished with a goal and two assists.
Hohle had a goal and an assist and Hall and Kone each had goals, while Biers had an assist.
Declan Barry had 10 saves in goal for ND/WG.
