STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: BRIGGS GETS HIS 500TH CAREER FACE-OFF WIN AS HORSEHEADS TOPS U-E (May 6, 2026)
Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — Boe Briggs got his 500th career face-off win and Brogan Sullivan had eight points as Horseheads celebrated senior night with a 19-4 win over Union-Endicott.
The Blue Raiders scored 15 first-half goals in the win.
Biggs was 17-for-20 on face-offs, including the 500th win of his career.
Sullivan had four goals and four assists and Seamus Lynch had three goals and three assists.
Briggs and Zack Bennett each had three goals and an assist and Keenan McCarthy and Owen Johanson each had two goals in the game, while Colin Phillips and Ethain Bailey both had goals.
Ben Potter had three saves in goal for Horseheads. Bailey was 3-for-4 on face-offs.
“I thought we played a great first half,” Horseheads coach Jason Neubauer said. “The boys were excited to come out fast on senior night. Good luck to U-E the rest of the season.”
Larkin Bianco had two goals for U-E and Connor Houser and Anthony Fiorelli had goals.
Terrell Johnson had 13 saves for the Tiger.s
Horseheads hosts Chenango Forks on Friday.
