COLLEGE MEN'S GOLF: HORSEHEADS GRAD FESETCH CAPS SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEASON AT NAZARETH (April 26, 2026)

Horseheads graduate Jack Fesetch recently completed his freshman golf season at Nazareth and earned Empire 8 All-Conference honors, Empire 8 Tomorrow’s Leaders team recognition as well as making the Empire 8 Presidents’ list. 

Fesetch was named to the Empire 8 golf all-conference team after his showing in the spring portion of the Empire 8 golf championships last weekend at Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, Pa. 

Fesetch was ninth out of 48 golfers, which, combined with the fall portion of the championships at Teugega CC in Syracuse earned him a 13th place finish overall.

Fesetch started in all 12 matches for Nazareth, whose season runs in the fall and spring. The freshman helped guide Nazareth to wins at the SUNY POLY Invitational in the fall, and the Keuka and St. John Fisher Invitationals in the spring.

The Empire 8 conference recognized Fsetch on the Tomorrow’s Leaders team. One player from each Empire 8 team receives this honor for not only their leadership on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community. In addition, they compete with ‘honor and integrity’ and have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen. 

Fsetch was also named to the Empire 8 Golf Presidents List, which is given to those golfers earning a 3.75 GPA or higher throughout the year.
