STAC BASEBALL: PALMER THROWS ONE HITTER WITH 14 STRIKEOUTS AS ELMIRA TOPS ITHACA (April 24, 2026)

ITHACA — The Elmira Express got a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts from Aedan Palmer as they topped Ithaca 10-1 on Friday.

Paler allowed one hit and one run, walking two and striking out 14 in the game.

Elmira scored two in the third, two in the fourth, five in the fifth and a run in the sixth in the win.

Quinn Hanrahan had three hits, with a home run, four RBI and a run scored and Aiden Ranck had three hits, an RBI and a run scored. 

Logan Deember had two doubles, an RBI and a run scored and Palmer, Noah Cain and Jeremy Manon all had doubles in the game. Cain had an RBI and two runs scored and Manon had two RBI and a run scored. 

Logan Palmer and Jackson Cavalier had hits, with Cavalier scoring a run and driving in a run. 

Carter Sherman and Ryan Matthews scored runs in the game.
