IAC SOFTBALL: SULLIVAN GETS 200TH CAREER STRIKEOUT, BUT ND FALLS TO LANSING (April 22, 2026)

SOUTHPORT — Layla Sullivan recorded her 200th career strikeout on the mound, but the Notre Dame softball team fell to Lansing 16-3 on Wednesday. 

Sullivan struck out four in three innings. Kayleigh Ayers threw the last two innings.

Danasia Thompkins had two hits, with a home run, a double two RBI and two runs scored for Notre Dame and Ayers had two hits, with a run scored.

Libby Meisner had a double and an RBI and Sullivan and Avery Quay had hits in the game.
