IAC SOFTBALL: EDISON GETS JUST ONE HIT, BUT TOPS WHITNEY POINT (April 22, 2026)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Despite recording just one hit the Edison softball team beat Whitney Point 2-0 on Wednesday night. 

Kayla Rossi had an RBI double for the one hit, and Tayler Burdick and Payton Gibbs scored the runs in the game. 

Aurora Parlo threw a five-hit shutout, striking out 10 for Edison.

Avery Maslin threw a one-hitter for Whitney Point, striking utility two and allowing two unearned runs.
