VESTAL — The Elmira Express got a Tucker Burnett goal in double overtime as they edged Vestal 8-7 on the road on Tuesday night.

Ayvre Traugott-Knoll had three goals and an assist for Elmira and Ryen Ferraro and Burnett each had two goals in the game.

Kasin Shoemaker and Noah Hughes had assists in the game and Liam Ogden finished with 10 saves in goal.

Brodie Ahearn had two goals and three assists for Vestal and Kayden Kitchen and Michael Hogan both had goals and assists in the game.

Sam Ciarvino, Chris Pierce and Troy Trobridge all had goals for Vestal in the game. Nate Shake and Austin St. Denny had assists. 

Chase Adams finished with 16 saves for Vestal.
