ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison softball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour 1-0 on Friday in eight innings. 

Tayler Burdick had a hit for Edison. 

Hailey Clark threw a three-hitter, striking out seven and allowing an unearned run.

WG/O-M got a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts by Paige Ellis.
