SECTION 4 BOYS' TENNIS: HORSEHEADS GETS WIN AT 4TH SINGLES, BUT FALLS AT ITHACA (April 15, 2026)

ITHACA — The Horseheads tennis team fell at Ithaca on Wednesday, 6-1. 

Horseheads won at fourth singles as Ketu Patel won 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 over Takuo Kawate. 

In first singles Henry Bopp of Ithaca won 6-1, 6-3 over Dominic Wood and at second singles Jonah Jacobstein won 6-0, 7-5 over Joseph Juan. 

Gustavo Luke Flores won 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) over Lincoln Choe.

In first doubles Simon Crane and Ian Moore won 6-4, 6-2 over Ojas Bhushan and Jacob Nah and at second doubles Dylan Kerness and Chilean Sethupathy won 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 over Christian Scibek and Hollo Wood.

In third doubles Wilson Bershaw and Rowan Hinrichsen won 6-3, 6-4 over Mark Mendez and Maxwell Doty.
