Southern Tier Sports ReportElmira — The Elmira softball team scored four runs in each of the first two innings on their way to a 13-1 win over Union-Endicott on Monday.
Madelyn Cavalier and Rylee Gonzalez each hit home runs in the game.
Cavalier had two hits, with an RBI and two runs scored, including the home run, and Gonzalez was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and three runs scored.
Cate Lambert had a double and a triple, three hits, four RBI and three runs scored and Ava Cornacchio had three hits, with an RBI and two runs scored.
Anna Osborne had two hits, with a double, two RBI and a run scored and Madi Smith had two hits.
Annabelle Decker had a double and a run scored and Aleida Agosto had a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Grace Romeo had a hit and a run scored.
Agosto struck out one and allowed one run on six hits in the game.
