IAC SOFTBALL: EDISON HOLDS ON FOR WIN OVER SVEC (April 13, 2026)

VAN-ETTEN — The Edison softball team held on for a 3-2 win over SVEC on the road Monday.

Up 3-0 after five six innings, SVEC got two in the seventh and had the tying run on base, but Edison pitcher Aurora Parlo got a groundout to end the game.

Kayla Rossi had a triple and an RBI for Edison and Clark, Rosie Wheeler and Parlo all had hits for the Spartans.

Parlo had an RBI and Tayler Burdick scored two runs, while Clark scored a run.

Parlo went the distance, striking out 11 and allowing two runs on five hits.
