SECTION 4 TENNIS: CORNING TENNIS FALLS AT ITHACA (April 13, 2026)

ITHACA — The Corning Hawks boys’ tennis team fell at Ithaca on Monday afternoon, 7-0. 

In first singles Henry Bopp won 6-1, 6-3 over Derek Guo and at second singles Jonah Jacobstein won 6-2, 6-0 over Bryan (Taekyu) Lee. 

In third singles Orion Patie won 7-5, 6-1 over Kaeden Martinez and at fourth singles Gustavo Luke Flores won 6-1, 6-0 over Dongkyu Lee. 

In first doubles Ithaca’s Simon Crane and Aaron Martinez won 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7) over Jose Manuel Umanzor and Ethan Smith and at second doubles Takuo Kawate and Ian Moore won 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) over Gabriel Boutwell and Adam Scott.

In third doubles Ithaca’s Luke Hwang and Chilean Sethupathy won 6-1, 6-4 over Benedict Hacker and Matthew Han.
