HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: HORSEHEADS FALLS IN MYRTLE BEACH (April 6, 2026)

MYRTLE BEACH — The Horseheads softball team fell to Austintown-Fitch 13-3 at the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Softball Classic on Monday.

Horseheads trailed 1-0 after the bottom of the first but scored three in the third to go up 3-1, before Austintown-Fitch had big third and fifth innings in the game. 

Presely McInnes had a triple and scored a run for the Horseheads hit in the game.

Caitlin Yearick and Reagan Burge scored runs for Horseheads and Aubrey Maticic and Briley Beach had RBI in the game.

Kolby Chaffee worked 2 2/3 innings, striking out three. Reese O’Herron struck out two in three innings.
