STAC SOFTBALL: HORSEHEADS PICKS UP VICTORY AT JOHNSON CITY (April 1, 2026)

JOHNSON CITY — Horseheads scored all 17 runs in the first three innings as they beat Johnson City 17-1 on Wednesday night. 

Horseheads scored seven runs in both the first and third innings and three in the second.

Dylan Young had two hits, with a triple, four RBI and two runs scored and Caitlin Yearick had a double and scored two runs.

Presely McInnes, Aubrey Howe, Aubrey Maticic, Zaylee Vang, Kolby Chaffee and Aubrey Griffith all had hits in the game.

McInnis had an RBI and a run scored and Reagan Burge scored three runs. Briley Beach scored a run and Vang had an RBI and a run scored. Chaffee had two RBI and a run scored and Grace Cronin and Mya Piecuch each had RBI, while Griffith had an RBI and a run scored.

Chaffee allowed one run on four hits, striking out 10.
