STAC BASEBALL: ELMIRA STRIKES EARLY IN WIN OVER BINGHAMTON (March 30, 2026)

BINGHAMTON — The Elmira Express scored 10 times in the first four innings on their way to an 11-9 win over Binghamton on Monday. 

Elmira had three in the first, three in the second and four in the fourth. They added a run in the seventh and led 11-1, before Binghamton scored eight in the bottom of the seventh to try and rally. 

Logan Demember threw four innings of one-hit ball, striking out nine. Jackson Cavalier struck out four and allowed a hit and an unearned run in two innings.

Dom Ellis, Noah Cain and Logan Palmer combined to pitch the last inning. Cain and Palmer had strikeouts. 

Aedan Palmer had two hits, with a home run, three RBI and three runs sc0ored and Demember had two hits, with a triple, two RBI and four runs scored.

Quinn Hanrahan had a triple, an RBI and a run scored and Cavalier had a double and two RBI.

Aidan Ranck had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Carter Sherman and Ellis each had hits and scored runs.
