COLLEGE BASEBALL: LOCALS HAVING SUCCESS AS EC BASEBALL GETS OFF TO HOT START (March 5, 2026)
Southern Tier Sports ReportThe Elmira College baseball team swept a doubleheader against New England College on Thursday to improve to 7-2 on the year.
Horseheads graduate Devin Sullivan made his first collegiate start in game two, working 3 1/3 innings, and striking out two, while allowing three runs on four hits. Sullivan also has a hit and an RBI at the plate this year.
Elmira grad Bobby Cavalier was 2-for-3 in the opening game. Cavalier, a starting outfielder, is hitting .292 on the year.
Corning grad Ryan Price has one at-bat this year for Elmira College.
