COLLEGE TRACK AND FIELD: ND GRAD KEOUGH HAVING RECORD BREAKING SEASON FOR SJF, WHILE CORNING GRAD GRINNELL MAKES REGIONALS (March 4, 2026)
Southern Tier Sports ReportNotre Dame graduate Makenna Keough has had a record-breaking season for the St. John Fisher indoor track and field team, while Corning grad Olivia Grinnell also has had a big year.
She set a school-record in the triple jump in the Nazareth Conference tune-up with a mark of 11.33. She reocrded the fourth-best 60-meter hurdles time in program history (9.46) in the Ithaca meet and the fifth-best long jump mark (5.34m) in program history in the Utica Invite earlier this month.
Keough was second in the triple jump at the Empire 8 Championships with a man of 11.22.
Corning graduate Olivia Grinnell qualified for regionals in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:34.47. Grinnell was sixth in the mile at Ithaca earlier this year in 5:18.32.
Keough was the Empire 8 field athlete of the week earlier this year when she took fourth in the triple jump at the Southern Tier Invite at Cornell. She also had a time of 9.77 in the 60 hurdles that day.
Keough has qualified for regionals in multiple events.
