COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD CLEARWATER HEADED TO NATIONALS WITH GENESEO (March 4, 2026)

Elmira graduate Ellie Clearwater and the Geneseo women’s basketball team won their second straight Empire 8 Championships and are headed back to the Division III NCAA Championships.

Geneseo takes on Washington University out of St. Louis on Friday in the opening round of the tournament.The game is in Delaware, Ohio. 

A year ago the Golden Knights made a run to the Sweet 16. 

Clearwater averaged 2.9 points and 1.6 rebounds a game this year. Clearwater had 19 assists on the year.
