PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY: BEECHER RECORDS ASSIST FOR CALGARY (March 2, 2026)

Elmira’s John Beecher recorded his third assist of the season on Monday night for the Calgary Flames in a 3-2 loss to Anaheim. 

Beecher played 12 minutes and 39 seconds, with three minutes and 27 seconds on the penalty kill and nine minutes and 12 seconds even strength. 

He won five face-offs on the day and blocked three shots. 

Beecher assisted on a first period goal for Calgary as they scored first in the game.

Beecher has a goal and three assists in 28 games this year.
