SECTION 4 BOYS' BASKETBALL: NOTRE DAME TOPS MARATHON TO ADVANCE TO SECTIONAL SEMIS (20 PHOTOS)(February 28, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team picked up a 55-50 win over Marathon on Saturday night to advance to the Section IV, Class C semifinals.
Max O’Connor had 23 points, with five threes, and Rocco Sayers and Finn Schweizer had 10 points each in the game.
Landon English and Treshawn Jenkins had six points each, with Jenkins hitting a pair of threes.
Notre Dame jumped out to a 16-9 lead after one quarter on their way to the win.
