STAC GIRLS' BASKETBALL: STARNS NETS 25 AS CORNING TOPS OWEGO (February 18, 2026)

OWEGO — Char Starns had 25 points as the Corning girls’ basketball team beat Owego 48-35 on Tuesday night.

Starns had 11 in the first quarter and 19 in the first half as Corning led 14-6 after one quarter and 28-12 at the half.

Deanna Shaddock had eight points and Lucy Feretella and Katie Grover each had four points, while Kennedy Driscoll had three points. 

Jenna McEvoy had 14 points and Eva Crawford had 11 for Owego.
