SECTION 4 GIRLS' WRESTLING: ELMIRA TAKES THIRD AT STATE QUALS (21 PHOTOS) (February 14, 2026)

BINGHAMTON — The Elmira girls took third at the Section IV Girls’ Wrestling State Qualifier on Friday.

Elmira had a team score of 124, with Oneonta winning at 150, folloewd by Forks at 141.5. 

Elmira’s Alexis Collins finished sixth at 94 pounds and Alea Hartford finished third at 100, winning by fall in 1:04 over Layla Orinik of Binghamton-Seton Cahtolic in the third-place match.

Amber Mahmood of Elmira was fifth at 107, pinning Julie Smith of Whitney Point in 1:43 in the fifth-place match.

Addison White was fifth at 114. She had a pin in 50 seconds over Oneonta’s Brooklyn Boecke in the fifth-place match. 

Atlantis Cherry was third at 138, with a 9-5 win over Tori Reh of Forks in the third-place match.

Ayvah Coker of Elmira was fourth at 235 falling to teammate Mackenzee Davis by technical fall 10-0 in the third-place match as Davis took third.
