BINGHAMTON — Edison’s Sidney Gibbs just missed placing at the 2026 Section IV Girls’ Wrestling State Qualifer on Friday. 

Gibbs had a pair of pins, in 2:42 and 3:32 in the consolation bracket at 145 pounds, after opening with a loss by fall to Kinnley Wightman of Onoenta, who finished third.

Gibbs was one win away from placing.
