SECTION 4 BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING TAKES 2ND, HORSEHEADS 3RD AT M-E BLIZZARD INVITE (January 24, 2026)
Southern Tier Sports ReportENDWELL — The Corning boys’ swimming and diving team took second at the Maine-Endwell Blizzard Invite and Horseheads was third.
The Hawks had a score of 446 and Horseheads was at 243, with Maine-Endwell winning at 598.
Corning was seocnd in the 200 medley relay with a state-cut time of 1:39.58 and Horseheads was fourth in 1:45.22 with Corning’s B team sixth at 1:52.06.
Keith Huff of Corning was second in the 200 free in 1:53.63 and teammate Kyle Williams was ninth in 2:03.39.
Joey Crisco of Corning won the 200 IM with a state-cut time of 1:59.99 and MJ Carro of Horseheads was fourth in 2:10.78. Kaeden Martinez of Corning was seventh in 2:16.68 followed by teammate Derek Guo in 2:17.09.
JP Sierzant of Corningw as second in the 50 free in 21.97 with Kegan Monahan of Horseheads fifth in 23.91.
John McKane of Corning was second in the 100 fly in 55.66 followed by Horseheads’ Thang Tran (55.69) and Corning’s Shawn De Pedro (58.65).
Sierzant was second in the 100 with a state-cut time of 48.44 and Monahan was fifth in 53.34.
Huff was second in the 500 free in 5:15.70 and Corning won the 200 free relay in 1:37.10. Horseheads was sixth in 1:43.69.
Tran was second in the 100 back in 57.07 followed by Carro win 57.61, McKane in 57.94 and Williams in 59.32. Martinez was ninth in 1:02.28.
Crisco won the 100 breaststroke in a state-cut time of 59.32 and De Pedro was third in 1:03.54. Guo was ninth in 1:09.36.
Corning won the 400 free relay in 3:20.48 with Horseheads fourth in 3:38.63 and Corning’s B team was seventh in 3:48.92.
