IAC BOYS' BASKETBALL: NOTRE DAME PICKS UP WIN OVER WATKINS GLEN (24 PHOTOS)(January 23, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team used a big third-quarter to pull away on their way to a 77-70 win over Watkins Glen on Friday night.
It was 23-17 Notre Dame after one quarter and 41-36 at the half. Notre Dame used a 22-point third quarter to go up 15 entering the fourth quarter.
Max O’Connor had 28 points, with four threes. He had 21 points in the second half, including 13 in the third-quarter.
Rocco Sayers and Finn Schweizer each had 14 points in the game, with Schweizer scoring six in the second quarter and Sayers getting five in the first and five in the third. He had two threes in the game.
