IAC WRESTLING: GOLDEN RECORDS 100TH CAREER WIN FOR EDISON AGAINST SVEC (January 15, 2026)

ELMIRA — Greg Golden recorded his 100th career victory in Edison’s wrestling match against SVEC on Thursday night. 

SVEC won the match 36-29.

After double forfeits at both 103 and 110, Edison got forfeits from Andrew Smith (118), Cameron Southard (126) and Rocco Franchi (132). SVEC’s Karen Westbrook (138) got a forfeit before SVEC’s Brennan Zimmer pinned Colton Erickson in 30 seconds and teammate Gabriel Benjamin pinned Daniel Cruz in 3:00.

Kollen Westbrook of SVEC got a forfeit at 157 and at 165 Aiden Quackenbush of Edison pinned Korbin Brenza in 3:31.

There was a double forfeit at 175 and Golden got his 100th win with a 22-5 technical fall win over Kaden Sims at 190. 

Connor Breed of SVEC pinned Logan Simmons in 35 seconds at 215 and at 285 Jak Smith of SVEC got a forfeit win.
