SECTION 4 BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING NOTCHES WIN OVER ELMIRA (January 13, 2026)

ELMIRA — The Corning Hawks boys’ swimming and diving team picked up a 90-78 win over Elmira on Tuesday night.

Elmira’s Cameron Eden, Dayne Bush, James Lovell and Ethan Coleman won the 200 medley relay in 1:57.04. 

JP Sierzant won the 200 free in 2:04.98 followed by teammate Brock Allington (2:20.77) and Elmira’s Jace Barr (2:22).

Corning’s Kyle Williams won the 200 IM in 2:26.01 followed by Lovell (2:31.15) and Eden (2:36.62).

John McKane of Corning won the 50 free in 23.51 followed by teammate Shawn De Pedro in 24.37 and Bush in 25.90.

Isaac Kostera of Corning won the diving at 162.80.

Keith Huff of Corning won the 100 fly in 56.33 followed by teammates Joey Crisco (58.19) and Kaeden Martinez (1:04.57).

McKane won the 100 free in 52.70 followed by Williams (56.43) and Coleman (1:00.54).

De Pedro won the 500 free in 5:52.69 followed by Corning’s Thomas Coeffic (6:39.17) and Henry Mletzko of Elmira (6:57.03).

Corning’s McKane, Williams, Landon Weed and Allington won the 200 free relay in 1:45.74. 

Eden won the 100 back in 1:09.07 followed by Elmira’s Jacob Brinkerhoff (1:25.49) and Drew Reynolds (1:33.17). Crisco had the top time as an exhibition in 1:00.88 followed by Huff (1:05.12) and Corning’s Derek Guo (1:08.06).

Bush won the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.94 followed by teammates Otto Emerson (1:33.25) and Aaron Skinkle (1:37.20). Sierzant had the top time as an exhibition in 1:08.81 followed by teammates Nick Matteson (1:15.04) and Martinez (1:17.64).

Elmira’s Bush, Lovell, Eden and Coleman won the 400 free relay in 4:07.98. Crisco, De Pedro, Owen Donlon and Allington had the top time as an exhibition in 4:04.20.
