GIRLS' SOCCER: GAFFER F.C. HOSTS ASSESSMENT (24 PHOTOS)(January 3, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — The Gaffer F.C. Women’s program hosted an assessment on Saturday morning in Horseheads.
“Gaffer City F.C. is proud to announce that our women’s program assessments featured 20 local players, representing NCAA and multiple high school programs across the Twin Tiers,” Director of Women’s operations Kurtis Hall said. “This strong local showing highlights the depth of talent developing within our communities and reinforces our commitment to building a true regional pathway for aspiring athletes. We extend our appreciation to the high school varsity coaches whose leadership and dedication to player development make this possible. Julie Pierce, Lee Spencer, Michael Lelejdal and Tara Hogan. Their support strengthens the bridge between scholastic soccer and the next competitive level.
