HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: ELMIRA FALLS IN PALMER TOURNEY CONSI GAME(December 29, 2025) Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA — The Elmira boys’ basketball team fell to Mechanicsburg 68-59 in a consolation round game at the Josh Palmer Fund Clarion Classic.
Elmira will play tomorrow in the seventh-place game.
The game was tied at 33 at the half, before Mechanicsburg outscored the Express 18-9 in the third quarter.
Darien Harris had 16 points for Elmira and Julian Colon finished with 11 points.
Malaki Banks finished with eight points for Elmira and Karim Woodard had six points on a pair of threes and Zach Conklin finished with six points.
Dash Harris had five points and Drew Clearwater had three points, while Ayvre Traugott-Knoll and Jameson Rollins had two points each.
