ELMIRA — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team won their regional consolation game at the Josh Palmer Fund Clarion Classic on Monday, 67-50.

The game was tied at 22 at the half, before the Crusaders scored 37 third-quarter points to get the win.

Rocco Sayers and Max O’Connor each hit three threes in the third. Sayers had 11 points, O’Connor had nine and Landon English had eight points in the quarter.

Sayers had 23 points, with five threes and O’Connor had 15 points, on five threes.

English had eight points and Finn Schweizer, Mike Sutryk and Menelik Jenkins each had seven points.

Notre Dame hit 14 threes in the win.
