HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: ND USES BIG 2ND HALF TO TOP ITHACA (December 29, 2025)
Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Notre Dame girls’ basketball team used a big second half to top Ithaca 55-48 in a regional consolation game at the Josh Palmer Fund Clarion Classic.
The game was tied at seven after one quarter, but Ithaca led 25-22 at the half.
Notre Dame outscored the Little Red 15-9 in the third and 33-23 in the second half.
Kalysta DeMark had 19 points and six steals and Payton Sutryk had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, along with a steal.
Jhamariah Maxwell had six points and 10 rebounds, with two steals, and Maci McWhorter had 10 points.
Danasia Darrow-Thompkins had two points and Lauren Coseo finished with a point.
