HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: CORNING ROLLS INTO REGIONAL FINAL AT PALMER TOURNEY (24 PHOTOS) (December 29, 2025)

ELMIRA — The Corning boys rolled into the title game in the Josh Palmer Fund Holiday Classic Regional Division 2 with an 84-42 win over North Penn-Mansfield. 

Corning, who is 5-0 and is honorable mention in the New York State Class AAA rankings, plays Waverly at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the title game. 

Corning led 32-6 after one quarter on their way to the win.

Nolyn Proudfoot had 22 points and Kyler Stevenson had 16 points, while Carter Proudfoot finished with 14 points.

Proudfoot had eight rebounds, four steals and an assist. Carter Proudfoot had two steals, three assists and four boards and Stevenson had four steals, four rebounds and two assists. 

Arda Derman had nine points and Teigen Gill had seven points, three assists and three boards. 

Kohl Hogue had five points, with four rebounds, two steals and two assists and Joe Fucito had three points, two boards and two assists. 

Dylan Brewster, Easton Stefan, Ashton Neally and Mikey Johnston all had two points. 

Andy Hermansen led NP-Mansfield with 16 points, with three threes. Jason Harer had eight points, Patrick Youmans had seven and Collin Oakes had six points.
