HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: CHAR STARNS HAS DOUBLE-DOUBLE, BUT CORNING FALLS TO JAMESTOWN (24 PHOTOS)(December 27, 2025) Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA — The Corning girls basketball team got 27 points and 14 rebounds from Char Starns, but fell to Jamestown 61-51 at the Josh Palmer Fund Holiday Classic on Saturday.
Starns had the double-double and Aubrey Rose and Kennedy Driscoll each had six points in the game.
Deanna Shaddock had five points, Evelyn Starns had four and Madi Henry finished with three for the Hawks.
